On motor ways where the speed limit is at least 70,whats the minimum speed you can drive?
i dont like driving fast for 1 ive been in car crashes and to i have a young child.ive never drove on a motor way before and wished id done pass plus.we are going on holiday this year where i will be hitting a motor way so does anyone know the speed you can do???
ive never gone over 50 since i pased my test and the main roads ive drove on are Dual carriage ways and they are 40-50 max!!!

i know i will be more confident once ive driven on a motorway but im more relaxed driving intown where most of the time i know the area and dont drive fast!!
There is no such thing as a minimum speed on a motorway...But when you drive at a slow speed that will endanger other road users then that is classed as too slow... 50 on the motorway is acceptable as long as you stay on the inside lane.. Others can then pass you without danger...Do not venture into the other lanes at this speed.. You will find that after a short while you will go a little faster than 50 and feel comfortable.. Leave a good distance if you have a slower vehicle in front of you...The maximum speed is 70.. Be brave..The motorway is in fact safer than other roads if used correctly.
