Odin Must

How do I ensure my ascension to Valhalla?
I recently became a follower of the Norse pantheon (Odin, Thor, Freyja, etc) and have been looking through various sources to find information on how to ascend to the afterlife. The only thing I find is that I must die in battle to ascend. However, it also says that Odin must hand-select his champions to rise to the halls of Valhalla.
My question is, how do I ensure that Odin selects me? What are His criteria?
PS: Please, if you're going to tell me that my religion is wrong and I should convert to yours, I don't want to hear your opinion in here.
I'm reasonably sure you need to be cremated, as well. Other than that, you have to fight so beautifully and fiercely in battle that he picks you, it's the sole criteria.

THOR trailer. The Mighty Thor: Son of Odin (AVENGERS ASSEMBLE)
Christians, when you answer "I feel God in my heart", as "proof" your god exists...?
..does that then also prove that those people who feel Krishna, Odin or Freyja in their hearts must mean Krishna, Odin and Feyja also must exist?
lol...back off Dogma...I'll kick you with my cute evolved feet! ![]()
((((Dogma))))
No, no... you're right. That's no kind of proof at all. When I was child I really, really believed Santa Claus existed, but sadly my belief did not make it so.
Proof of God has to begin with a logical assumption... reality... and then the thread has to be followed from there. Read GK Chesterton's "Everlasting Man" and "Orthodoxy" for a fuller understanding.

My favourite God (actually I'm a agnostic hedonist), Odin must have a seizure when he hear s that those little midgets from that vast expanse of dead water are not considering more manly drinks (joke!).
I tell you what, I must try shochu with absinthe!
Anyone interested?
Cheers,
