Officer Monte

Is this a model police officer?
On Spike TV's Pros versus Joes a contestant just gave his intro where he said he was a loudmouth prick with a short temper and little patience, he said it very sincerely, and it appears to be correct. He then went on to state that he is a police officer. Am I wrong in believing that this is exactly what we don't need in our police force? I think he said his name was Clayton Monte or something like that.
Yes his name is definitely Clayton Monte, I think he is the kind of officer who will choke hold a skateboarding teen cause they disrespect him.
No I am not adding things, apparently the word prick is acceptable for Spike tv which is always trying to be be edgy, I assure you this man used exactly these words to describe himself
"They used those words on prime time TV - dude you are adding things. They don't go that far on a family show."
Why is it that every time someone asks a question you think they are hiding something??? Ive seen many of your comments and they are just crap. Not everybody in this world is trying to get away with crime, or ask questions and add stuff in, or hiding stuff. You seem to be an unintelligent man with nothing more than immature and rude comments towards people who have questions in this world. Maybe you should spend more time doing something productive instead of ragging on people on the internet for asking questions.
To the original poster....Its unfortunate that some police officers in this world act in manners as in the show you saw. Although I agree that not all of us are perfect, I can just merely suggest that this officer has no talent, or value of his job. As a criminal justice student we learn about ethics and its unfortunate that some of these officers take these courses and learn squat. My professor stated she has an all female class (mine) and an all male class at another campus, and said when discussing many issues regarding police brutality and "ratting" out officers, the male officers seem to shun officers for such things. The female students on the other hand were more than willing to rat out illegal activities they see....hence ONE of the reasons you don't see females in policing. I stress, just ONE of the issues.

El Monte gang member suing police for kick to the head on video july 25 2009
A quick question about becoming a police cadet?
My question is: If I become a cadet in one city for 2-4 years and then begin to apply to other cities to become a police officer, will being a cadet better my chances of getting hired or will that only stand with the department that I was a cadet in? For example, right now I'm a police explorer in Glendora, CA and want to be a cadet in El Monte. If I get the job in El Monte and a few years from now want to apply somewhere in northern California, will these two things look good on my application or are they only worth something if I apply to Glendora or El Monte? The reason I'm asking this is because I want to move to northern California but can only get this type of experience in southern California. Thanks to all who answered.
Sometimes departments get a large response when accepting applications. When this happens,a lot of good applicants don't make the first cut. Something like that may catch their attention, and get you further consideration.
However, all things considered, it will not make much of a difference. There are too many other things they evaluate you on.
