What is the best type of armor a level 80 can have?
Can you tell me whats it called, how much it costs, why should I get it, and where I can get it.
I'm a Blood Elf Paladin
I have a Undead Death Knight also.
the type of armor you wear depends on your class. paladins and DK's both wear plate, so you're going to want to get the best plate armor you can get. note that there is is some wiggle room here. a paladin healer for example can wear any armor type that has +spell power, int, etc.. because they dont have to worry about getting hit (strictly for PvE, dont wear anything but plate in PvP). similarly, a dps DK can wear rogue or feral druid leather gear because the stats they are looking for are similar.
as for the definition of best, that varies somewhat depending on what you're trying to do. as a general rule of thumb, the higher an item's item level (ilevel or ilvl) the better it is. but, there are some stats you will need in some situations and not others. stamina is a good example. if you plan to PvP, you will need a lot of stamina. the more you have, the better, so PvP gear that has loads of stamina on it is great. but, that gear could have the same ilvl as another piece that has very little stamina, and instead has attack power. in a PvE environment, a character that plans to dps will benefit much more from this piece.
tl;dr version:
the best armor is the one that has the most of the stat you're looking for.
for paladins that will probably be either the Aegis set from Ulduar if you plan to PvE or the Furious plates if you plan to PvP
for DK's that will be either the Darkruned set from Ulduar or the Furious plates if you plan to PvP

HERO is the best EVER!!!!!!!!!! 2nd/1ST HIGHEST DMG IN THE GAME, (MAYBE ARCHER HIGHER) BUT HERO HAS HIGHEST AVG DMG, and steady dmg (unlike dark knights) have got good attcks like brandish SO WAY BETTER!!!!! HERO WOOT!!! soz caps lol. hero also has highest HP in game
but paladin is a mix between magic and warrior cos they can use fire ice holy moves lightning.
