Has This Administration Tried to Make Heroes Cowards and Cowards Heroes?
We have been led into war by men who have never seen battle, who refused to listen to Generals who told them more soldiers were needed for the task they planned. Dick Cheney had at least four deferments to keep him out of the Viet Nam War, and the military records of George Bush's short life as a pilot have conveniently disappeared. Yet John Kerry, a man who volunteered two times to serve in Viet Nam, was pictured as a coward. Max Cleland, in a wheelchair from his wounds, was pictured as a coward. Even John McCain, now a candidate, was said to have been friends of the Viet Cong. Neither Bush nor Cheney spoke out against those Ad Campaigns. How low can these people sink to win political points? And how can anyone admire any leaders who would allow these kinds of Hate Campaigns? Why is it admirable to lie and bring other people down with underhanded, untruthful character assassination?
I am still trying to figure out your point. The information is very convincing yet the end ...why is it admirable to lie? SO are you saying these things posted above are lies? I don't believe Kerry was a coward just alittle two faced and John McCain he may have forgiven his captors as they were also soldier's doing their jobs. Bush and his missing days of service... he is not alone and was never tried of any crime. Cheney has served a few dozen years on the political battlefield. Some Generals in the beginning of Iraq War #2 said they had things under control. They were replaced.
Led to war by men never seeing battle. History books are full of them. But one thing stands out clearly here. Be very sure who you vote for. Make sure you use your rights responsibly. Now for example. First felon ever to be pardoned to become President or first First Lady ever investigated in a criminal inquiry appeases you? Then vote that way and expect the media lashings well beyond anything one can say Bush has done.
