Who Are Rapid Deployment Force Of Argentina?
The Columbian Special Forces is known as the Rapid Deployment Force of Argentina. They consist of the Armed Forces as well as the National Guard and are trained to give a quick attack against any enemy combatants that attack their country. Unlike other special forces units that will be sent in on global excursions, the purpose of the RDF is strictly to maintain order and peace in Argentina.

The Rapid Deployment Force Of Argentina began as the 4th Paratroopers Brigade in 2006. Since then, they have been adding to their ranks to protect their country from threats from other countries as well as domestic terrorism.
How To Become A Member Of The RDF
Those who are members of the Argentina armed forces or National Guard can train to become members of the RDF.
RDF Training
Those who want to join the RDF have to undergo training in accordance to the Army or Naval procedures. The training for the RDF is rigorous and includes both physical and mental training, although the training that those who join this special forces group is not comparable to those who join the

, SAS or other special forces groups.
What Are They Best At?
There are several regiments that comprise the RDF and they consist of those in the Army, the National Guard as well as the Argentine Navy. One of the most elite of the groups is the 4th Paratroopers Brigade that began in 2006. This is a special operations unit that is trained to use hand to hand combat as well as air combat. They are also trained in air assault as well a commando formations.
