Tin Soldiers Set
Do you know what DVD set has Sonny & Cher singing ONE TIN SOLDIER on it?
Sonny and Cher sang the song, ONE TIN SOLDIER on one of their TV shows. There was an animated cartoon that played along with it that told the story of the song. I'd like to know what DVD set, if any, has that song on it. THANK YOU!
Mel, Yes, they DID sing One Tin Soldier because I saw them perform it on their TV show.
Susan, Yes, Coven did sing it...two versions actually. I know that. I'm looking for the DVD of the video of Sonny and Cher singing it. I also knew it was on YouTube Mel, but I want to buy the DVD with it if it on DVD. Sonny and Cher have a lot of DVD's out from their TV shows, but I don't know which one it is on.

What did your school let you do on the last day before Christmas holidays?
December 18th (I think) 1989. Primary School.
We all were allowed to bring a toy in to school...... being from a deprived Northern town the toys were generally broken toy soldiers.... I excelled with my Transformers Stunticons gift set of course.....
Teacher brought in a tin of Quality Street.... Christmas lunch.... then after lunch, the whole school watched a video of 'The Neverending School'..... home early. Unbeatable! And the whole day I had this warm feeling inside that in one weeks time I was getting an absolute sh!tload of Christmas presents...

We did pretty much the same, but then I also went to a Northern school. Everyone brought a toy in (I have memories of all the girls in the class cooing over my pink and purple My Little Pony, I was sooooo proud!), watched a video (who remembers Geordie Racer!?) and then at the end of the day you'd get a little gift - for example one of those bits of card with 2 sheets of plastic on them, and this plastic 'pen' which would mark the sheets, but then when you lifted the top sheet, what you had written had disappeared. Maybe that was the first touch screen-PDA type innovation lol! Anyway along with this little gift you'd get a tangerine wrapped in crepe paper. I still don't understand the relevance of that tangerine and the purple crepe paper, but hey still all fond memories
