So, fine peoples, what was the strangest thing YOU did with plastic army men as a kid? I remember making two of them kiss each other when I was four... woohoo. My mom was looking at me all weird as she watched me hold the two plastic lovers together and make kissy noises.
I chewed on my brother's army men. I would sit and watch tv and chew on the toys. They had so many men missing the tip of their gun, a leg, or sometimes a head. I still catch myself doing it today. It's a bad habit and I need to break it. LOL. It's hard to break a 25 year old habit though. I try to make sure I don't have anything in my hands when I watch tv now.

What is that paddle shaped thingy on a toy soldiers belt?
I've seen a lot of war movies with U.S. solidiers who have a paddle thingies on their utility belts. Some look like the have a transparent center with a crosshairs. Toy army men have them too. They usually hang across the left hip.
The "paddle thingie" is, I think a spade - small shovel used for digging foxholes - or graves.
Dept of Defense is a WAR MACHINE. They are all about keeping the old boys in Washington occupied with their little toy army men and machines. Theyre all about War not peace.
That dept should be abolished in my opinion and replaced with the Dept of Peace. What is the purpose of continuing to spend BILLIONS AND TRILLIONS of our tax dollars in a war that is showing no support and no end. When Bush decided to play with his toy army men and declare war in other countries, he is in a way, simply perpetuating the image of peace when its all about DIVIDE AND CONQUER.
The image of our milliary in other countries brings hatred and revulsion. THAT is not peace.
