utopian world...George Orwell...?
George Orwell "1984" book-Orwell was pessimistic about the future of mankind as he wrote his (incredible) book. Yet i think he was right. the world operates exactly as he wrote it would.

~G. Bush-"im doing this for the freedom of our country"--war in iraq-the soldiers have no f'ucking idea what they're fighting for
~people Have no free will=(free will and chioce are different)
Anyway-everything is much like in the book
how does the book abstractly relate to our world today - think about it,and tell me,, i have millions of reasons y and how
I assume you are a young person, and so I am delighted that a new generation is enjoying and learning from the work of Eric Blair [George Orwell]. He had many interesting ideas such as "doublethink" where the ministry of war is called the ministry of peace, and so on.
Did you know that the book was actually a satire on the world of 1948, when he wrote the book? He was appalled that after so much had been sacrificed in World War II to fight totalitarianism (Nazism and Fascism) people could not see that "Uncle Joe Stalin" (as people called him then) was just another dictator. When you have a look at the history of the period, it is easy to see Stalin as Big Brother.
The relevance of Orwell's work to today is manifold, including the way that politicians manipulate language (as Big Brother did in 1984), to control the masses of people. For example, certain governments persuaded their people that "weapons of mass destruction" existed in a certain other country, and that this country was part of an "axis of evil" which had to be destroyed.
Future generations will look back and marvel that such blatant fantasy could convince so many people to attack another country, and feel totally justified in doing so.

Harry Potter-Martika-Toy Soldiers
Help with the title of this storybook?
It's a storybook about a girl and her grandfather. He tells her bedtime stories and they come alive on the bed (I remember toy soldiers on the bed, coming out of a book). The last part is when the grandfather is siting on a armchair and asks his granddaughter to get him water. When she comes back she finds that her grandfather is dead.
