What if bonnie prince Charlie reclaimed the British throne?
Do you mean what it he had succeeded in 1745 or what if a descendant of his claimed it today? SInce he has no legitimate descendants, the latter couldn't happen. However, if he had regained the throne for his father (the Old Pretender, aka James III) in 1745, he might have married someone else and had children. In addition, as a Stuart, his father might have tried to turn the political clock back to the Divine Right theory of kingship, and since that branch of the family was Catholic, they might also have tried to impose Catholicism as the established religion of the kingdom. Since by then it had been almost sixty years since Charlie's grandfather, James II, had been deposed, the country would have been very unlikely to stand for any reversion to the state of affairs in his day. Either Charlie's victory on his father's behalf would have been very short-lived, or James would have seen the wisdom of changing with the times, which would have meant relinquishing some power to Parliament and becoming a staunch member of the Church of England. And there would never have been a Queen Victoria!

Today's news; Catholics to be considered as UK monarchs. Where are descendants of Bonnie Prince Charlie?
Under the Royal Rules of Primogeniture, Prince Charles Edward Stewart's 1745 claim to the throne was 100% legal. So any of his descendants should now be entitled to claim the throne.
I do not think so.
But I think it is about time that the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland grant all of its citizens the basic human right of freedom of religion.

Even the Catholic Church seeks and supports the freedom of religion for all human beings. In the Vatican II document, Declaration on Religious Freedom, Dignitatis Humanae (Human Dignity), the Church states:

This freedom means that all men are to be immune from coercion on the part of individuals or of social groups and of any human power, in such wise that no one is to be forced to act in a manner contrary to his own beliefs, whether privately or publicly, whether alone or in association with others, within due limits.
